之前曾介紹過Matlab Compiler，而Matlab從R2006b之後便不支援Matlab Web Server，所以必須將程式透過MATLAB Builder for Java或MATLAB Builder for .NET重新包裝，當然為了方便移植到其他平台，MATLAB Builder for Java會是比較好的選擇，若不想安裝整個Matlab軟體，則需要安裝MATLAB Component Run-time(MCR)，以便讓其他軟體透過Java呼叫MATLAB所寫的程式，例如：Lotus Notes。如此便可延伸Matlab的應用範圍，並達到快速開發及使用的目的。
